Get Ledger Wallet

Install Ledger’s official companion app on your computer or phone. Download it only from Ledger.com or your device’s official app store, then open the app to begin.

Create your PIN

Choose a PIN you can remember and enter it directly on your device. Your PIN protects physical access; never share it, and never type it into a website or chat.

Your recovery phrase
belongs to you. Only you.

During setup, your device will generate a recovery phrase. It is the master backup to your accounts: anyone who gets it can access your assets. Write the words down in the correct order and keep them somewhere private and offline.

    Never share it. Ledger will never ask you to reveal your recovery phrase.

    Never enter it online. Not into an app, website, search engine, or message.

    Take your time. Check every word and follow only the instructions shown on your device.
